Medical Assistance
Medical assistance – TVF can provide medical assistance and equipment apart from mobilty aids and accessible transport and will consider applications on a case by case basis to those living in the boroughs of Hounslow, Kingston and Richmond.
TVF has recently funded
- CPAP Machine for local resident with additional needs
- Easyfit bed guard and care mattress for a local resident
- Profiling bed plus protector for a local youngster
- Phonak Touchscreen radio aid for a local youngster
- Gastrostomy button covers for a vulnerable teenager
- Support for Dementia Connect a service supporting the elderly in Richmond and Kingston
- Defibrillator to support disabled youngsters on outings arranged by Activity Station
- Refurbishment of two treatment rooms and specialist therapies for Carers and their cared for through the work of Crossroads Care Richmond & Kingston
- AV equipment and resources for the Gathering Room at Kingston Hospital to support Staff, Patients and Families
Grant applications are reviewed each month with the next meeting on 21st August 2024 - all applications to be considered must be forwarded by 17th August at the latest.
The provision of access to free medical treatment, for residents of the London Boroughs of Richmond and Kingston, at the New Victoria Hospital in Kingston for those in financial hardship where treatment is not readily available on the NHS and where the treatment would be life enhancing together with other financial assistance for medical purposes is currently very limited - please send an enquiry before completing an application
