The Victoria Foundation was delighted to be one of two main beneficiary charities of the Richmond Running Festival on 6th September. The festival is one of London’s most exclusive with the races starting in Kew Gardens! TVF were delighted to have over 30 supporters, taking part in the 10km or half marathon in aid of the charity, and who have raised over £2,000 with donations still coming in. TVF will also receive an additional donation from race entries for the festival. The funds raised will help to transform many lives through providing mobility aids for children and young people. A special thank you to the teams from Union Street Technologies and Anytime Fitness Twickenham. ‘The Victoria Foundation would like to say a huge thank you to Tom and his team, the runners, the volunteers and all the very generous people who have sponsored those taking part. We are so grateful to have such wonderful support from so many people. We had 6 runners in the festival last year and to have over 30 runners this year is fabulous – we are aiming high and hoping to have 50 runners in 2016!’ said Lorna Votier, The Victoria Foundation.
