The Victoria Foundation Winter Ball on 10th December at Twickenham Stadium was a greatly supported once again. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception in the President’s Suite, Members Lounge, and Royal Box overlooking the floodlit pitch before a Gala Dinner in the Spirit of Rugby.
A big thank you to the distinguished guests who attended the evening: His Worship The Mayor of Richmond Councillor David Linnette, Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia, Sir Vince and Lady Cable, Lord and Lady Lee of Trafford and Dick Best.
There was great excitement in the room when the lucky winner of a beautiful diamond pendant donated by David’s Jewellers in Richmond was announced. Guests also had the opportunity to win exclusive, money can’t buy items in the silent auction and the live auction. Tom Baigrie, the auctioneer, ensured bids were high with over £14,000 raised in the live auction.
Guests were entertained by Diana Buraka & Florent Trarieux, French Dance Champions in the League of Professional Latin American Dancing, and danced late into the evening to ‘Frank The Cat’.
The Victoria Foundation would like to thank all the generous sponsors of the evening: Bhuti Spa, Bingham Hotel, Bolder & Co, Bootcamp Pilates, Bramble & Moss, Cantell & Co, David's Jewellers, DCW Penrose, Featherstone Leigh, HSBC, Metro Bank Chiswick, New Victoria Hospital, Parkside
