TVF has awarded a grant of £798 to fund a Naipo massage chair with lying position for a Barnes resident

The Richmond Borough resident suffers with chronic back and knee pain which affects her mobility - a specialist chair which can recline will help her to get up independently and the massage feature should help ease her back pain. TVF was delighted to award a grant so that she can get the specialist chair she so urgently needs.

“Please send a huge thank you to The Victoria Foundation for approving to buy me this massage chair. I have suffered with severe back and leg pains which prevented me from being able to stay on my feet for long periods of time. The chair will change my life for the better as it will give me a massage to help with the pain - I hope I won't have any more suffering. I haven't taken many pain killers since I have had the chair now as the chair helps me to relax my muscles. It also helps me to stand up on my own.”
