Guests very much enjoyed a wonderful evening, which celebrated the opening of the grand marble hall at The Star and Garter, Richmond Hill. There was also a preview of a number of paintings within ‘VIEWS The Star and Garter in its setting’ a collection of 50 commissioned works of art which includes the iconic view made famous by Turner. The full ‘VIEWS’ exhibition and sale of the paintings and accompanying book will be in the grand marble hall at the Star and Garter on 15th March 2017 before the Richmond landmark is handed over to its new owners.
‘VIEWS’ is sponsored by London Square, coordinated by The Asgill House Trust and arranged by The Victoria Foundation. The Foundation will receive a donation from the sale of the paintings and the proceeds of the accompanying book. The funds will provide medical support to the elderly in the community through the work of the Foundation.
