TVF has awarded a grant of £2,000 towards a lightweight wheelchair for a local youngster who has her eyes set on the Paralympics in the future.

“Thank you so much for supporting the purchase of a new day chair through the proceeds of your Diamond Draw Raffle. I have my eyes set on the Paralympics in the future, as a wheelchair athlete. As you can imagine, I have a heavy training schedule and I desperately need a lightweight day chair that is easily maneuverable and is less of a strain on my joints. A suitable day chair will make a huge impact on my ability to achieve my goals in life. Thank you again!
